This is THE spooky case with the bloody toilet water! I've remembered that trick for the past 12 years! There was such a classic horro vibe to this case

so.. they decide to add in the fact that Araide allegedly knows about Conan's activities? from a case 104 episodes ago??
WHAT???

did this happen in the manga but wasn't properly translated into the anime or did they just pull this one out of their 🍑??

Edit: I checked out those episodes (170-171). The scene of Conan leaving under Araide's watch did NOT exist. (nor could it have taken place in 254, becuse they wore different outfits then)

I really like their looks at this point in time! They get a little too sharp later on, and before they were very cartoonish..
